Ellenor and Dan Barker owned this house for 20 years. As they live full time in Fayettville NC
and no longer travel as they once did they decided to make a gift of their house and almost 8 acres of land to The Valle Crucis Conference Center in February 2009. Their property was once part of the origional Mission School property and as Ellenor said now comes full circle back.

The house has 2 bedrooms and in each bedroom there are 2 twin beds. There are 2 bathrooms which do not have to be accessed through a bedroom. There is a large living room with couches and a daybed. There is a beautiful sun porch with a pull out double bed sofa and a futon couch which folds into a double bed. There is a full kitchen with coffee maker, refrigerator w/ice maker, oven, toaster oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is a washer and dryer and living room area near the kitchen with a pull out sofa that has 2 twin beds.

The house also has a roll away bed and a crib and could accomodate up to 10-12 people depending on how the pull outs are used.

There is no TV, telephone or internet connection.

There are incredible long range views from the house and beautifully landscaped property.
